The National Council of Teachers of English has a blog on their website where members can write about topics that impact teachers and students, and share their thoughts with the community. We want to give you the opportunity to do this in our student affiliate! Some things you could write about are: reflections about teaching and learning, general education topics, and NCTE opportunities/events/resources. Anything related to the field of English Education is a potential topic you could write about! If you’re interested in writing for the KSU NCTE Blog but you’re not sure what you could write about, we recommend taking a look at the NCTE Blog for inspiration on potential topics. This is a great opportunity to develop and establish your professional voice and connect with other English teachers! If you are interested in writing for the blog, please see the submission guidelines and process below.

Currently, we are only accepting submissions from KSU Education students.
Pieces should be between 300 - 800 words.
